JVL LABORATORIES, INC.

JVL Laboratories, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Jesse Tovar, the company's President and CEO. JVL has achieved an impressive growth since its inception in 1997.  The company started its operations from a small 2000 sq. ft. office in Opelika, Alabama, having only 6 employees. In 1999, JVL moved to a new 40,000 sq. ft. manufacturing unit in Opelika, Alabama. JVL continued to grow steadily, and in May 2002, moved to into a new 180,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Phenix City, Alabama.  The company has been regularly hiring since 1997 and today is one of the major employers in the area.

In 2007, JVL was the receipent of "Small Business of the Year" award by the Phenix City-Russell County Chamber of Commerce.

JVL also has a fully equipped and technologically advanced laboratory.  Here JVL's technicians analyze, test, develop and improve on a wide variety of products ranging from soaps and shampoos to perfumes and body lotions.  These products can be custom-created for each individual customer.
